Easy Hot Chocolate Recipe
As summer turns to autumn and winter, and the nights draw in, thoughts turn to warming treats. This quick and easy to follow hot chocolate recipe is guaranteed to keep you warm and cosy, and it only takes 5 minutes to make in a pan on the hob.
Ingredients
- 250ml Milk
- 50g Cocoa Powder
- Half a bar of milk chocolate
- Pinch of salt
- Sugar (amount to suit your taste)
- Toppings – marshmallows, cream, sprinkles or anything else you want to choose!
Warm half the milk in a suitable pan, the Blackmoor 16cm Blue Pro Milk Pan is perfect for this. When warm, add in the cocoa powder, salt and sugar and whisk until you have a smooth consistency. Add the rest of the milk.
Once warmed on the hob, remove from the heat and add the chocolate – and whisk until fully melted and mixed in.
Pour into a cup and serve with your favourite toppings.
